Our next stop was Sitka, AK...
This port was on the smaller side so we had to take little taxi boats into shore and our boat stayed out in deeper water...

My parents and us went to the National Park in Sitka. There was lots of interesting information about the Natives and the Russians who used to be in Sitka as well as all the history and story behind the totem polls.

There was a cool little walk that we went on that had tons of different totem polls as well as a cool view of the town and our ship in the distance.

When we were done we walked around the little downtown for awhile...
There are these little salmon berries growing all over town that are apparently edible and some people tried them (I'm not that brave)!
Back on the boat for more fun!

Our next stop on our cruise was the Hubbard Glacier. We didn't get off the boat but we had a nice long time there to look, learn, and take pictures!
It was a hazy day but we got to see the glacier calving and lots of ice floating in the water!

This is a map of trip on the cruise.

So our first stop on the cruise was Juneau, AK. In Juneau, our whole group got a private catamaran tour. We wanted to see wildlife and we definitely did! So much fun!

The whole group...
And our bus driver stopped so we could check out Mendenhall Glacier on the way back to the boat...
Back on the boat...

The whole reason we were in Seattle was to head out on the great Bushman family adventure (aka. cruise to Alaska). All 17 of us were there and it was AWESOME!

These are some pictures of the boat and the first couple days. We were on the water for the first day and a half but there was plenty of exploring to do and fun to have!
