Darrington wedding

I got back from Tahoe just in time to make it to Cole and Asheley's wedding. I didn't manage to get any pictures of the ceremony which was on one of the lawns on campus or any pictures that actually included my my face but here are the ones I did manage to take...

Beautiful centerpieces...
A unique "guest book"... Everyone signed in on a little tag before the wedding and they hung them all on this lighted tree at the reception...
 Centerpieces on some other tables...
A series of Mikel and Josh pictures...

And Mikel and Josh with Cole...
A beautiful wedding for a great couple!

These pictures are long overdue but are from the Hazelton Celebration we went to at the end of June.

Harold and Shirley receiving the plaque for being Grand Marshalls...

 Other people in the parade...

 Post-parade...

And the Celebration at the park... these kids were all catching fish with their hands...

 Mini petting zoo...

It was a very fun weekend and good to be closer to family!

Squaw Valley

After the last day of our second camp here in Tahoe, we headed to the Village at Squaw Valley where they were having an art, wine, and music festival.

I forgot my camera on this trip so cell phone pictures are all I have...

That guy in front of the rings is Rob (one of the guys I've been coaching with)...
A view of the village and the ridiculously expensive condos...
The cable car/tram that goes to the top...
 Painting...
I forgot to take pictures but the music was classical guitar and was awesome! There were also a bunch of vendors selling photography, jewelry, pottery and other stuff. It was fun to walk around but too rich for my piggy bank!

After that, we set out to find some snow. We didn't have to go far to get to Donner Pass where there were great views and lots of snow...

Mike didn't know I was taking a picture but it gives an idea of how deep the snow was...
Two camps down, one to go!

camps in Tahoe

I am currently in Tahoe, CA working camps with Mike Welch.  We were bummed Mikel couldn't come with me this time but he has been working like crazy at the golf course and I couldn't turn down three camps in a row.

Camp is in the morning and afternoon but this isn't a bad view for relaxing after camp...
Unfortunately, I haven't been in the sun hardly at all since last summer so my feet did not fair so well during the grass tournament at camp. Luckily, I put sunscreen on my face but my feet weren't so lucky!
I am my father's daughter!

fishing in Dillon

Mikel finally got to go fishing in Dillon! He had to wait to get a driver's license, then wait to get a fishing license, and then wait until him and Cole had the same time off so they could go together.

He went the other day and caught like six! Glad to be in Montana!

These new statues were put in around Dillon. They are life-size bronze statues and look really cool!
