Uncle John's Cider Mill

Yesterday after a set of meetings at school, Mikel and I went to check out Uncle John's Cider Mill in St. Johns about 30 minutes from East Lansing. We had terrible weather all day so we'll have to check it out again before the end of December when it closes for the season. It's been windy and rainy here (but we can't complain too much because we haven't seen snow yet).

They have orchards, a pumpkin patch, a corn maze, a cider press, a pie barn (yes I said pie barn), a winery and a bunch of other stuff!

They had a really cute shop with holiday decorations and little gifts!

I NEEDED this... Ok, not really but everyone gives directions based on their palm here and this oven mitt and a map of Michigan on it!!

This is some of the cider we bought as well as a mix for Red Pepper Corn Chowder we got at the cider mill that I'm so excited to make!

Also, Mikel's mom sent us this cute Halloween card so I had to include it!
