exploring Montana

Mikel was out four wheeling and horn hunting a couple weekends ago with some friends and they came across these cool charcoal kilns.

They were used in the late 1800s and early 1900s by settlers and miners to make charcoal which was used in the silver and led smelters in Glendale, MT.

You could go inside and look around the site. I want Mikel to take me out there so I can check it out some time this summer.
