road trip part 3

After three days of camp at Berry, we headed back towards home.

We love checking out cities and colleges that we pass so that is mostly what we saw...

Our first stop was in Atlanta where we saw Georgia Tech..

They were having basketball camp at the time so we were able to walk into their basketball complex...
This is from the 1996 Olympics...
After that we headed onto Emory University which was BEAUTIFUL. It seemed to be a strange mix between small but super academic undergraduate population and a lot of professional/graduate programs as well.
Then we went to Athens, GA and University of Georgia...
Their football stadium was bordered on one side by a street through campus but it was right next to an awesome new student union type building with the bookstore and everything.
This is the shirt for the upcoming football season (notice Idaho State on the list-- uh oh)

Next, we drove through South Carolina and saw Clemson.
The rock in this picture is actually from Death Valley, CA because they call their football stadium Death Valley also...
Right outside of the football stadium was a big veterans memorial.
All of these rocks have the name of a Clemson students/affiliate that has served in the military. It was really cool...

A giant Georgia peach...
That night we ended up staying in Charlotte, NC which was a cool town as well.
The stadium in town...
