Mikel fishing

Mikel got the opportunity to go fishing this weekend and he was super excited! He has missed fishing and hunting so much since we moved so it was nice to have an opportunity.

He went salmon fishing with a couple guys, one of which he met through a friend at work. It was at a river called Pere Marquette about 3 hours northwest from home.







He was there overnight which gave me time to rearrange the living room and watch a lot of football! Then we had about 17 loads of laundry to do at the laundromat. Now we're hanging out getting ready for the week ahead.

I have a busy week at school (although one of my classes is canceled because my teacher is in China- score!) and Mikel works about every day but this weekend should be fun because it will be his birthday!!!
